For movies is Sims 2 my favourite.
Sims 3 is ok and looks good, but I haven´t the possibilities like in Sims 2. Maybe someday, but not now ;)

I dont change a lot of my videos
I just have all my game settings on maximum and I sharpen the video a little bit with an effect.

Under "Downloads" can you find a lot of things for you PC or Sims Game.
Just click on "Download" (next "Details") and save the file.

At first - reading for which game is the download. Sims2 Downloads dont work in Sims3 ;) ..
All files are "packed" in winrar-files, which means that they have been reduced for the download. First time you have to "unzip" the files. You can download the program for free (chip.de/downloads/WinRAR-32-Bit_12994655.html).
If the files are unpacked, they come in this folders:

My Documents/EA Games/TheSims2/Downloads

Is there no download folder simply create one yourself. Done, now you have the stuff in the game!

This is very different. My longest video (the VS Show) was almost 3 months of work.
My fastest video was "Halo" by Beyonce. It was finish in just 3 days
But I must say - if I started a video I cant stop. So it can happen that I work 13 hours on a video in 1 day....
I know, I must be crazy :-P

I think everyone thinks differently... I can only give my personal impression.
For me, as Movie Director, is the best Sims2 Addon "Nightlife" and "Seasons". But I do not want to give up an addon,
I need all of them ;o) ...
For Sims3 I´m not sure ... At the moment (August 2011) we have just 3 big Addons, Pets is coming ...
For the time is "Ambitions" the best for me.

Hmm ... From the time since it was my Victoria Secret Fashionshow.
But in terms of cost, Alejandro was probably my hardest video.
All this animations and clothes - I needed over 2 months for it.

I play Sims for ca. 8 years & filming movies for ca. 5 years...
